Dark Chocolate Truffles

Simon Says “Raise your hand if you like DARK CHOCOLATE TRUFFLES”🤎🤎🤎🤎

It’s amazing how easy these are to make considering just how pricy they can be at bakeries and the like. You’ll need 3 simple ingredients to make these:: 1) Quality chocolate for melting -not chocolate chips because they typically have stabilizers. 2) Heavy Cream and 3) Cocoa Powder.

Recipe::

I used 2 of those Ghiradelli dark chocolate baking bars.

2/3 cups of heavy cream

1/2 cup Ghiradelli cocoa powder

Chop up the bars. Place in a glass bowl. Heat up the cream until bubbly, but not boiling. Pour cream over the chocolate and let stand for a few minutes. Then mix cream and chocolate to combine. The chocolate should be melted and no cream showing. Cover mixture with plastic wrap- like touching the chocolate. If you put it just over the bowl then you’ll get water bubbles over the surface of the chocolate. No bueno!

Refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Then using a small cookie scooper or teaspoon, shape chocolate into balls and roll them in your plate of cocoa. Keep in airtight container in the fridge for as long as they will last! Hahaha

I’d say no more than a week.

You can add sea salt, cocoa nibs, sprinkles, etc. Make them as you wish!!

Chocolate Love,
