Ceviche Is Sunshine!!


hope the sun is shining wherever you are. And if it’s not sunny outside, put some sunshine on your plate with GROUPER & SHRIMP CEVICHE 🌞

If you’re not a fan of ceviche, I do absolutely feel sorry for you. It’s not raw- as most folks believe- and it’s so light and refreshing to enjoy!

This dish is made more tropical than typical Ceviche’s because I’ve added MANGO and JALAPEÑO 💫😎

I wouldn’t suggest using previously frozen fish for this unless that’s what you got on hand. Otherwise, find a nice quality piece of fish like #halibut#corvina or #grouper and good #shrimp like #keywest pinks! Yummy in my Tummy!

Recipe::

1-2 lbs quality fish, cubed

1 small red onion, diced

1/2 just ripe mango, diced

1 jalapeño, seeded and diced

1 cup FRESH squeezed lime juice

1/2 lemon, zested and juiced

3-4 sprigs of cilantro, chopped

Salt & Pepper to taste

Drizzle of good quality olive oil

Place all ingredients in a bowl. Let marinate at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator. Then eat! I love to have this with mariquitas or plantain chips!
